1) Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to our doctor-facing Android app “THE Doctor At Home – Doctors” and its connected backend services. The app helps doctors manage patient home visits/consultations, appointments, payment settlements, and support. It is not intended for emergency use.

2) What data we collect & why

3) Android permissions & usage

ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION (optional): nearby match & on-the-way updates for visits.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS: appointment reminders, payment/settlement alerts.
CAMERA / READ_MEDIA_IMAGES: capture/upload prescriptions, reports, profile photos (only when you choose).
READ/WRITE EXTERNAL STORAGE (if applicable on your OS version): create/download invoices you request.
CALL_PHONE (optional): click-to-call patient/helpline (no call logs accessed).

You can change or revoke these permissions anytime in Android Settings. Some features may be limited if disabled.

4) How we use your data

Provide core features: bookings, home visits, consult records, payouts.
Send transactional updates (appointments, payments, account/security).
Prevent fraud/abuse; comply with law and platform policies.
Diagnostics & analytics to improve stability and user experience.

5) Sharing & disclosure

We do not sell personal data.
We share with: (a) patients connected to your profile as required for care; (b) service providers (hosting, analytics/crash, maps/location, payments) under contracts; (c) competent authorities when legally required; (d) in case of business reorganization with safeguards.

6) Your choices & rights

Access/update profile & clinic details in the app.
Download invoices/records where available, or request via support.
Delete account: App > Profile > Account > Delete Account (or request via support). We may retain some records required by law (e.g., tax/audit).
Control notifications & permissions in Android Settings.
Additional rights under applicable laws (e.g., GDPR/UK, California) – access, rectification, objection, portability, etc. We honor them as per law.

7) Security

We use transport-level encryption, access controls, and data minimization principles. No method is 100% secure, but we continuously improve security measures.

8) Children

This app is intended for licensed adult doctors. It is not for individuals under 18 years of age.

9) International transfers

Data may be processed on servers located inside or outside your country. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses).

10) Data retention & deletion

We retain data only as long as needed for services and legal purposes.
Upon a verified deletion request, we will erase or anonymize data except records legally required to be retained (e.g., tax, audit, disputes).

11) Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. Important changes will be notified in-app, via email, or on our website. Continued use of the service after updates means acceptance of the new Policy.
