The Doctor At Home respects your privacy. This Policy explains what information our Android application collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is designed to meet Google Play requirements.

1) Scope
This Policy applies to our Android app and related backend services we operate. It does not cover third-party websites or services linked from the app.
2) Information we collect
We collect only what is necessary to deliver our services:

3) App permissions
- Location (precise/approximate; may run in background if you allow) – routing, ETA, nearby matches.
- Camera & Photos/Media – capture/upload reports and profile images.
- Notifications – booking, reminders, status updates.
- Phone (optional) – place a call to provider/patient; we do not access call logs.
- Storage – generate/download invoices or reports you request.
4) How we use information
- Provide and improve consultations, bookings, home visits, and support.
- Process payments and manage refunds/settlements.
- Protect safety, prevent fraud/abuse, and comply with law and Google Play policies.
- Analytics and crash diagnostics to improve stability.
- Send transactional communications you opt into.
5) Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with: (a) doctors/care providers you choose; (b) service providers for hosting, analytics/crash reports, maps/location, or payments under our instructions; (c) authorities when required by law; and (d) in business reorganization with safeguards.
6) Your choices & rights
- Access, correct, or delete profile/consultation history in the app where available, or contact us.
- Withdraw location/camera/notification permissions any time in Android Settings.
- Opt-out of non-essential communications in the app.
7) Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures (transport encryption, access controls, limited retention). No method is 100% secure; we continuously improve protections.
8) Children
The app is intended for adults. Where minors use the app, consent/oversight from a parent or legal guardian is required by local law.
9) International transfers
Data may be processed on servers inside or outside your country. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards.
10) Retention & deletion
We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes described, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and enforcement. You may request account/data deletion; we’ll honor it as required by law and inform you of any data we must retain.
11) Changes
We may update this Policy and will post the new version here with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes may be notified in-app.
